Wedding : G+D

G+D's wedding invites were already done and sent out, but they still needed some programs and dinner menus designed.  G was great to work with; she did a lot of research and knew exactly what she wanted!  For the late-summer wedding, we decided on a floral+branches motif.  I created the flowers and branches in Photoshop, using photographs I had taken in the past and select filters.  Type: Monotype Corsiva

Fan Programs (250)

printed on pearlescent cream linen card;  8"x5" with satin sage ribbons, 1/4" width

Hand-cut and  hole-punched!  I didn't think I could finish tying all the ribbons, but G was a fast learner and pitched in!

Circular Menus (325)

G found the idea for circular menus on weddingbee.com.  I needed to fit two menus on a letter-size sheet and still have them be large enough as place settings.  The notch is where the circles overlap and I let the branches curve around that.  I like the asymmetry of the composition while the text itself still maintains center-align....there was so much food to include, yum!
